- Be Professional: Treat everyone with courtesy and respect
- No Harassment: Zero tolerance for abusive language, threats, or intimidation
- No Discrimination: Respect all users regardless of gender, caste, religion, or background
- Constructive Communication: Keep conversations relevant and professional
🚫 Prohibited Activities
- Spam Applications: Applying without genuine intent or copy-pasting generic messages
- Fake Profiles: Misrepresenting identity, qualifications, or business details
- Scams: Requesting upfront fees, promising unrealistic returns, or fraudulent job posts
- Inappropriate Content: Posting sexually explicit, violent, or offensive material
- Solicitation: Promoting external services, MLM schemes, or competing platforms
- Harassment: Repeatedly messaging users who've declined or blocked you
💼 For Employers
- Post accurate, detailed job descriptions
- Specify clear payment terms upfront
- Honor commitments and pay promptly
- Provide timely responses to applicants
- Don't request inappropriate personal information
- Close or update gigs when positions are filled
🎓 For Students
- Write thoughtful, specific application messages
- Only apply to gigs you can realistically complete
- Show up on time and deliver quality work
- Communicate professionally in all interactions
- Don't ghost employers after acceptance
- Leave honest reviews after completing gigs
⚠️ Consequences of Violations
Minor Violations: Warning + temporary account restriction
Major Violations: Immediate account suspension or permanent ban
Examples of Major Violations:
- Harassment or threats
- Financial scams or fraud
- Identity theft or impersonation
- Multiple spam reports
- Circumventing platform rules (asking users to communicate off-platform)
📢 Reporting Violations
If you witness or experience behavior that violates these guidelines:
- Use the "Report" button on job posts or chats
- Email: support@stugig.in
- Include screenshots or evidence when possible
- We investigate all reports within 24-48 hours
