Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using StuGig, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

Platform purpose

StuGig is a platform that connects students with local job opportunities. We facilitate connections between students and employers. StuGig is not an employer and does not directly hire users.

Account basics

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under it. Please use accurate information and keep your contact details up to date.

User responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information in their profiles and job postings
• All interactions, negotiations, and agreements made with other users
• Verifying the legitimacy of job opportunities or applicants
• Complying with local labor laws and regulations

Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use StuGig. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Prohibited conduct

Users must not:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Use the platform for illegal activities
• Spam or abuse the messaging system
• Attempt to circumvent security features

Content ownership

You retain ownership of the content you post on StuGig. By posting content, you grant StuGig permission to display and distribute that content on the platform.

Account suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform.

Job arrangements and payments

StuGig does not process payments. All payment terms, receipts, and taxes are arranged directly between students and employers. Please document agreements in writing.

Disputes between users

Any disputes about scope, payment, or timing are between the involved users. StuGig may review reports for policy violations but is not responsible for resolving contract or payment issues.

Limitation of liability

StuGig is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for disputes, damages, or losses arising from interactions between users, job arrangements, or use of the platform.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold StuGig harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the platform or violation of these terms.

Payment and fees

All payment arrangements are made directly between students and employers. StuGig does not process payments or charge platform fees at this time.

Service changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the platform. If we materially change these terms, we will post an update date and may notify users in-product.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located where StuGig operates.
